Working in permaculture garden (day 2)

In some places permaculture garden indeed looks like a jungle. But after we cut off and collected all the dray straws and plants for compost, it looked much better.

When that was done it was lunch time and we made our first lasagna. Lasagna from straws, chicken and horse manure, green stuff (nettles, dandelion leaves and the leaves of Paulownia tree), dried lavanda, rottened apples, pears, and just a bit of wood shavings for taste.

Time to time moistened this hot compost with chlorine free water in which (two days back) we put such greens as nettles, dandelion leaves and others (full of nitrogen). We made it in the form of cube, time to time taped it with fork, so that it doesn't get too hot inside.
